The Panchmukhi Hanuman And Chintpurni Temple || Pathankot

The Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in Pathankot is a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed to be one of the very few temples in India where Lord Hanuman is worshipped in his five-faced form or the Panchmukhi Hanuman. The temple's history can be traced back to the 16th century when it is believed that the idol of Lord Hanuman was found by a saint in a nearby forest. The saint then installed the idol in a small temple which became the foundation of the present-day Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple. The temple gained prominence in the 19th century when it was visited by the famous Hindu saint, Shri Swami Vivekananda.
